Merry Christmas!!! (a day later :) )

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We've been up in Wisconsin celebrating with my family. Christmas Eve we had a yummy dinner of Swedish Meatballs and mashed potatoes and then collected the presents from around the house. (My mom says it's a Swedish tradition to place the presents in different rooms of the house and make a dancing train to collect all the presents. The tradition started in 2002 and they kept it up while we lived in California. It's definitely a entertaining sight!!!) Blake was a bit tired but he still had a lot of fun opening all the presents. He had a lot of fun playing with Grandpappy's ice scraper/brush!

Christmas Day we woke up and discovered that Santa came during the night! He left Blake some gifts and a few things for the rest of us. Blake enjoyed open those gifts and playing with all the gifts he received the night before. We spent the day playing with presents and enjoying all the snow (we definitely had a White Christmas!).

Tomorrow we'll be heading to my cousin Julie's house to celebrate the season with my mom's side of the family. It will be nice to see everyone again! (we haven't seen them since my Grandmother's funeral last year) Then we'll head home to Iowa and the presents from Kevin's family. Boy - it's been a busy few days!!!

(I'll post pictures when we get back to Iowa...it's a bit hard to do while we are at my parent's house)
