Today was the day....

that we finally got to see the allergist!

Our appointment was at 3 pm (yup - right during naptime) and it was late enough in the day that Kevin was able to join us. The meeting with the Dr. went really well. He asked a bunch of questions ranging from Blake's eczema, his food reactions, to what medications we've used, etc. He did inform us that there is a 20% chance that Blake may outgrow his peanut allergy - so that's promising news.

We went in expecting to undergo the pin-prick test but at this office they first do a blood test. So Blake had his blood drawn. I was nervous that he would do horrible - but he was a champ! Cried when they poked him but then quieted right now. The blood work is being sent up to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and the results should be back by Tuesday. We are testing for the following allergies: peanuts, wheat, milk, tomato paste, and eggs. So I'll be back on Tuesday with the results!
Here are some pics of Kevin & Blake playing around while we waited for the Dr.

Saying "Shhhhh!"
