This weekend has been pretty busy for us. Friday evening my parents and brothers (also known as Mor Mor, Granddad, Uncle Shaunie (or The Godfather), and Uncle Dylan) arrived to spend the holiday with us. We had a nice fun - filled weekend!
Saturday we made our way to the Living History Farms in Urbandale for their Easter Festivities. They have a barn walk, an egg hunt, the Easter Bunny, wagon rides, a bunny exhibit, an egg roll and so much more!
He thought the Easter Bunny was so cool! A huge smile the entire time! After a little drive around town to check out Metro Ice Rink and the BSB Design building, we made our way back to the house to get ready for our Easter Dinner. The boys watched a movie while Mom and I got everything ready. We had yummy hamburgers on the grill, chips, baked beans, veggies, pickles, homemade buns, and a bunny cake. It was nice no-stress meal.
After dinner we walked down to the park to play basketball and play on the equipment. The boys had a game of 2 on 2 while Mom, Blake and I went for a little walk around the school grounds.
Easter morning we all woke up and discovered what the Easter Bunny left us. Blake had fun playing with his new toys and checking out what the big boys received as well.
Soon after breakfast everyone left (they had to drive back up to the Cities to drop Shaun off and then head home - a long day of driving!) we played more with Blake's new toys. He had fun playing with his new Bounce Back Racer remote controlled car, his new water/sand bucket toy, his bunnies, bubbles, and books. We went for a walk and when we got back, Kevin and Blake decided to play a little golf. We also had a little egg hunt of our own.
