This afternoon we headed outside to play a little baseball. Blake is really getting good at hitting the ball off the tee. He still likes to play golf with the baseball and bat but that's okay. While we were playing, Blake noticed that the neighbor had her sprinkler out to water the grass & her plants (it has been so dry here lately!). Normally he LOVES to go through the sprinklers. Whenever we are out running and we go through a sprinkler - he wants to do it again. So I was surprised that he was scared to go get his ball when he threw it into the sprinkler's range. He would walk up as close as he could without getting wet. So I was the one who kept on dodging into the sprinkler getting his ball. (he thought it was a fun game).
Tonight after dinner we all headed outside to enjoy a yummy
Popsicle. It was Blake's first. He thought it was pretty good. He didn't make too much of a mess - Kevin ended up eating most of the
Popsicle since Blake wasn't making a fast enough dent on it (it was dripping all over the place).
