Swimming in Lake Pepin!

While on our way to visit the grave-sites, we stopped to picnic on a hill overlooking Lake Pepin. We had yummy sandwiches, chips, fruit and sparkling apple cider! (swedish style). My cousin Liz joined us on our journey to the graves and she brought along the yummy cider. After eating, we found a path that led down to the water. While playing along the banks, we were able to see a passing train - Blake was extremely excited about this.

Soon enough Blake was pretty drenched with water - he was having so much fun! He was picking up big rocks and throwing them, he liked to watch the big splash! We decided that for the walk back up to the car we would just strip him naked and put a new diaper on (my Mom had brought down my diaper bag). I was able to capture a few pics of Blake skinny dipping....so cute! Gorgeous afternoon and a lot of fun enjoying time with family.

Blake fell asleep as soon as the car started moving - playing in the water wore him out!
