So these last few days we have been working on drinking milk out of a sippy cup and today we tried self-feeding with a spoon. He likes to play with his sippy cup - in the pic below he has it upside down...but somehow he is getting some milk out of it!
As far as the spoon feeding - he was more interested in chewing on the Gerber training spoon then actually putting the spoon in his oatmeal and then eating it. So I helped him quite a bit with the spoon. That's okay though - he did pretty well for his first day!
Oh - and I have a funny nap story. I put him down awake to see if he would fall asleep on his own. Well he was quiet for about 10 minutes so I decided to check on him. On the floor next to his crib are his blanket, his pacifier and his pants! I have no idea how he got his pants off! He was all proud of himself too. Silly boy!
