Dylan was a trooper and loaded everything up onto his sled (his tent, heater, 2 seats, and all the fishing gear). Mom and Dad also came along so it was a fun family adventure.

Dylan quickly set up shop - but unfortunately couldn't find any fish.

But Blake didn't care. He had a ton of fun "shoveling" with Dylan's ladle (which is used to scoop out the excess ice after drilling the holes)

I think Dylan had to use the auger 8 or 9 times - he really wanted to find a spot with fish! (well we all really did but not as badly as Dylan)
It was starting to get dark so we decided to call it a day. Blake and Dylan were good sports and posed for a few pictures for me.

The other excitement while we were up in Rapids was the Packer vs the Falcon's Game!! Mom decorated the entertainment center with all their Packer gear and also dressed Blake up in a Packer uniform. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough it capturing it on film - Blake didn't care to wear the uniform (he was busy drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows) so it was soon off of him. But it was a great game and a very fun weekend!
This is how he insisted on going down the slides. I don't think he actually sat up for any of them. But he still had a blast.

One thing we have been working on at home (and at preschool) is Blake's cleaning up skills. For the past 2 weeks he has been earning stars on his treasure chart - and once he filled up the chart he would be able to go to Monkey Joe's - a indoor bouncing place. He filled up the chart on Thursday - so we made a trip to Monkey Joe's on Friday. He had a BLAST!! We were there fo 2 hrs and he was constantly moving.
