Opening Weekend!

One of Kevin's b-day presents was tickets to Opening Weekend for the Minnesota Twins. We drove up on Saturday to Minneapolis (went to the Science Museum and Ikea - I'll post about this next time) and stayed overnight. Sunday was all about the Twins!

Before the game started we walked around the plaza looking at all the statues. Then we headed inside to find our seats. We sat in the Legends Club - which we all really enjoyed. Blake was most excited about running the bases at the end of the game. It seemed like he asked at the end of each inning if the game was over yet!

The Twins ended up losing - which was the only bummer about the day. Blake ran the bases all by himself - I think Kevin was hoping he would want his help! But it was very fun walking on the field and seeing everything from the players point of view. Definitely a fun time - we can't wait to go again!
